F1 Village at Singapore Formula One Grand Prix 2011

Time is of the essence and I knew that I've taken for granted mine. Now, I have all the time in world to share to the world my experiences during the F1. Two words: adrenaline rush. Just hearing the roar of the jet-fuelled engines made me tweak upon my sit, or stand, depending on which platform I'm at during the race.

My ticket to my most anticipated event.

Long line of crowds at Gate 4, my entry point. Everyone was excited and looking forward for the night race. Some, being avid fans, even brought team flags to support their teams.

At the F1 Village, you can watch the ongoing races and you can stroll, watch the street performances, check out the car exhibit, eat food at the stalls. Food, by the way, was not hawker but upper range dining, i.e. Hard Rock Cafe. So I opted to eat outside of the F1 Village.

First race event: Porsche Carrera Cup

Second race event: Indy 500.

Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso almost crashed.

Even the medical response team's car is fabulous.

I've seen the race, the speed. I've heard roaring engines even from afar that I needed to use my earplugs. I'm thankful that I haven't used the raincoat provided since it didn't rain, thank God. And just when I thought I had seen what I have to see, spotted! There he is, Fernando Alonso at the Puma Marina Bay!

The night race was a super successful event. And I am happy I came. Now I can check it off my list. But I'm open to going again if I have the opportunity.
